V-Day

We were going to avoid the whole commerciallism of V-Day. No obviously V-Day candy, no flowers, no eating out nice on Monday… Ok well I
did buy some red hots a few days ago but other than that we were abstaining…

But tonight we took the kids to Walmart and let them pick out V-day presents. Sarah got a purple puppy and a small flower to go with all the other stuffed flowers she has. Jer got a football [non V-day] and they both got sunglasses… then we got home and they started wrapping their own presents. Jer wrapped up his candy from grandma in white paper then colored the package with red marker. Sarah sorted out the rest of their gifts into two different coincidently heart decorated
used gift bags… fun fun. Oh my, we’re opening and re-wrapping all gift bags… Man you can make a party outta anything. Can’t wait for St. Patty’s day. Jer should like that one.

Oh, they already have the Easter stuff out. I heard a lady beside me in the holdiay section mumble, “Easter stuff? It’s not even V-Day yet!” I replied to her, “Yeh and the Thanksgiving stuff is on the next aisle over.” She half believed me, responding, “Really?!” Hehe

[edit: I'm replacing the holiday's name with V-Day in hopes that my google adsense ads will stop advertising for certain things...]

Amy is talking to herself again.
