1. Steve on Blue’s Clues. I can’t stand it when he acts like he misunderstands the kids when they say, “There’s a clue!” He replies, “Oh you like my shoe? Thanks…” blech.
2. This slide out drawer that holds my keyboard… And Sarah’s habit of slamming it shut when she doesn’t want me to type anymore… Arrrgh.
3. The fact that I took the time to take all the trash to the dumpster this morning, but got distracted and forgot to pull it to the curb… so now we have no room for next week’s trash.
4. This recent blog entry by local journalist, Ron Davis. Baaagh, mutter, mutter… A ridiculous illogical diatribe. I don’t have the time to rebut. So I will merely fume privately.
Edit: Ron’s blog died and he had to move it to chatterbyrondavis.blogspot.com. I know people are finding this post by searching google for his site, so I thought I’d point you in the right direction.

You would just be wasting your time refuting Ron Davis. As Dave Bradley says, “You can’t reason with dumb”

What bothers me more than the blog entry is the fact that Ron Davis wrote it. He was one of my favorite local journalists… so disappointing.

not a fan of journalist’s full stop, but isn’t really a brilliant idea to avoid issues by denying people something they feel is neccessary, though…i’m going to avoid the issue actually not sure how deep peoples feelings run on this *admonishes self for being a coward*

That’s ok Jammay, I know where you stand on this issue. And you are wise to be a coward in this audience… Feelings run rather deep here when it comes to the topic. So I will be a coward and not reply to Ron Davis. And you can be a coward and not post your true thoughts here… and we’ll all pretend to be happy friends who don’t disagree on life and death issues.

Or — OR — you could e-mail me, we could strike up a conversation, and perhaps both of us will find some common ground here. We might be surprised at how much we have in common, and how easy it is to overlook such consensus.
Anyway, food for thought. Sorry the blog entry drove you crazy. Your page has made me think.

I checked my email and excitedly proclaimed, “Ron Davis commented on my blog.” Oh.. OH WAIT… I wrote something bad about Ron Davis on my blog… Yeh, I forgot about that. Hmmm… I should have emailed Ron in May… But you know… I was driven crazy and all…
I’ll email him.
