Mind Numbing

I wrote in my earlier post that I CAN NOT HEAR. Well it turns out that isn’t totally true. I can’t hear things outside of my head very well. But the things inside my head are INSANELY loud. [No, not 'The Voices.'] But swallowing and chewing. The sound of swallowing a drink of juice is amazingly loud. Eating pretzels is almost mind numbing.

* Update 9pm: My ear is ringing like Rome the day they picked Pope Joe.
* Update 5.20 10:22am: The church bells are still ringin’.
* Update 5.20 6:04pm: I — CAN — NOT— HEAR!

  1. If your ears are now plugged up because of water or such, a drop of rubbing alcohol or vinegar should help dry it up. Whenever I have an earache I use half vinegar and half water in my ears and it really does help to dry up stuff and soothe. I’m so sorry that you are having ear problems! And I understand the whole super loud sounds in your head! oh so irritating! I know my dad has used hydrogen peroxide in his ears and never had problems, my mom has also flushed his ears with warm water and a waterpik machine! He has bad allergies and his ears do this too!

    Hope you are doing better soon!

  2. Thanks… My ears are plugged because of the hydrogen peroxide. I’ve tried the rubbing alcohol twice so far… I have no vinegar.

    My ear is ringing like Rome the day they picked Pope Joe.
