Cookie garden

Buddy is mowing the backyard again. Jeremiah stood at the window watching him. He came to me with tears on his face. “Buddy mowed over my garden,” he sadly proclaimed. Garden? My boy has a garden? Who knew? Jeremiah returned to the window and sadly watched for another 10 minutes. I heard him occasionally mutter, “garden.”

I pressed for more details. Apparently, Jeremiah has a “cookie garden” which he planted in the back corner of the yard. He waters it daily and makes sure it gets enough sun. He was terribly heartbroken. I told Buddy about the garden. He told Jeremiah, “I saw that you had a cookie garden, so I mowed around it.” That seemed to help.

  1. What do you plant to get cookies? Chocolate chips? What if I want to grow sugar cookies, should I plant sugar? Which kind of sugar? Could you ask Jeremiah for some advice and get back to me? Inquiring minds want to know.

  2. Jeremiah won’t give away many secrets… but he says you need to remember to water the cookie garden. They need a lot of water! That’s all he’s going to say about that.
