Support Group?

Surely there is a support group out there. A place where I can find others dealing with similar issues. A safe haven for people who are haunted with the same relationship challenges…

“Hello, my name is Amy Maxwell and … [awkward silence] … I have a husband who refuses to use Firefox.”

It’s hard enough knowing that some of my readers don’t use Firefox… that they aren’t viewing this site as I meant it to be. That the menu on the right looks … odd.

But to have the father of my children… buying a fancy new laptop and refusing to let me load Firefox on it. That hurts down to the very core of my geekness.

It’s as if I offered you the most delicious country fried chicken ever eaten along with your choice of tasty sides, [compliments of The Lazy Susan] and you said, “No, I think I’ll have McNuggets.” “I’m used to McNuggets. Everybody I know eats them… And besides, I’m too busy to pick my own side dish.”

  3. Firefox is a nice browser. It does certain things better than anything else. However, I have been hooked on Avant Browser for some time now…

Yes it uses an IE engine (now, don’t give me that look), but its feature set eclipses even the vaunted Firefox.

As a Web designer I have to use all known browsers to make sure I have happy code…and among them Firefox is nice…but I’m hooked on Avant and will not let go very easily. ;-)
