Jeremiah continues to ask me questions.
“How do you hear God?” “Why doesn’t he talk louder?” “Why do we have two ears?” “Who should I talk to in Heaven? God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit?” “Why did they drop a bomb?” “How did they fix it after they dropped it?” “Why were they fighting?” “How many people were fighting?”
I’ve studied history and theology… but I am not fully equipped to explain the Trinity, a ubiquitous God or the atomic bomb to a four year old.
Besides, I have a few questions for him:
- “Where are all of daddy’s shoe strings?”
- “Why are you standing naked on the bathroom counter?”
Word of the Day for Friday August 12, 2005
ubiquitous \yoo-BIK-wih-tuhs\, adjective:
Existing or being everywhere, or in all places, at the same
time.
note: How fun is that? The word of the day is one Dad taught us.

Oooh! Good sneaking in of WOTD. I didn’t even notice it (in part because I actually knew that word!) I am trying to find a way to work Nugatory into my vocab today.
