Chris Rice released a new album on August 23rd. I guess I was a little preoccupied. I didn’t notice.
You guys probably didn’t notice either…but that’s understandable. I on the other hand have been waiting for ‘years’ for a new release. Rice used to be is my favorite artist. New CDs are always a gamble for me though. What if I don’t like the new style? You know how cheap I am. I hate to spend money.
Enter Rhapsody. They let you listen to 25 songs each month for free. Woo Hoo. So in order to motivate myself to clean this house. I get to listen to one new song after each 15 minutes of cleaning as fast as possible. Think it’ll work?
Update: So I was about to order the CD… then I became overwhelmed with options: New CD, Used CD, Autographed Cd, Dual Disk set that comes with a DVD… Or I could download it. [legally] MP3 or WMA…
Wow! Thanks for the post! I, too, love Chris Rice and was completely clueless that there was a new album. Let me know what you think of it in between your cleaning. Then I don’t have to waste money either.
However, an album that took years to release should be good.

I just bought Chris’ cd and it is not just amusing, but also amazing! The first two songs aren’t my favorite, but then it gets to a song called “when did you fall” and I was hooked. This song is amazing! My favorite so far in years. I also love the songs “final move” and “lemonade”. This is one of those cd’s that I find myself playing over and over, especially “when did you fall”.

I bought the cd a few days ago. Amy’s right. It is amazing. Esspecially the three songs she mentioned.
