The day after I ran away from home, I put a pencil, notebook and small New Testament in a water proof “Lock ‘n Lock” box and hid it in the backyard. That way if I “run away” from home again, I’ll be able to read and write until I regain my sanity and decide to go back inside…
Apparently Jeremiah found my box. He thinks it is a geocache. So he has been ’signing the log book’ when he goes out to play. My little red memo book now has several notes and drawings left for me by each of my children. Sweet babies… Maybe I’ll remember that next time I feel the need to hide from them.

If I recall, you were also locked out… Maybe you should hide a spare key in that box, too.

Thought of that. Thanks. Also thought I’d put 5 bucks in there so I can walk to the gas station and get a snack if a grown up is inside with the kiddos. But, I’ll need to find a better hiding spot. Jeremiah is a very good finder.

HA! Jami thinks I am smart. Poor girl, its obvious she hasn’t met me yet, or tried to explain a computer thing to me.
