Marla is writing a post about Calvanism. She mentions attending a freshman New Testament class taught by Robert Gundry. Hey wasn’t he the author of my New Testament Lit. text book? Name Dropper. 
The first time I heard the terms “Calvinist” and “Arminian” was in Robert Gundry’s New Testament class my freshman (and only) year at Westmont College. - Always Thirsty: Reluctant Calvinist (a post in progress)

It was weird because long after Westmont, I started hearing Gundry’s name–like he was renowned Christian scholar–and I thought, hey that’s the guy who taught one of my first college classes–too bad I didn’t appreciate him at the time. Life is funny like that–seems like so many opportunities come when we’re not yet ready for them.
