I have to commemorate this small step toward sanity.
Jeremiah just announced that he does not want to watch Dora the Explorer. He said,
“Dora is for three year olds!”
One down. One to go.
Sarah, very proud three year old and loyal Dora fan, is not happy about Jeremiah’s recent declaration.
I can understand the desire to ditch Dora from the tube, but actually I have to thank the writers of that program. Without Dora and Boots and the gang shouting out their Spanish words, I would have arrived in San José, CR without even knowing my colors. Now if they could just squeeze in counting in numbers >1000!

Max (my 6 year old) is a closet Dora fan. He thoroughly enjoys watching the program, but would be shunned by all of the boys in his class!
I rather enjoy it myself!
