Power Toothbrush

I just got a free Sonicare Essence 5300 Power Toothbrush in the mail today… That’s a 70 dollar tooth brush…

Sev-en-ty Doll-ars… for a toothbrush. Wow. Somehow that appeals to my techy self yet terribly offends my cheapskate simplistic self. I am torn. But it was free. :)

Why? Because the Internet loves me. That’s why.

It’s charging right now, so I can’t give you an extensive review of the incredible plaque fighting capabilities… but um… the charger is cool. It’s mysterious in fact. There are no exposed metal parts in the charging base or toothbrush… it’s all plastic. And um… how does that work? Magnets?

I have ten dollar off coupons if you find a need to buy such an advanced tooth cleaning system.

And of course you can get it at Amazon.

P.S. Are you terribly offended by this post? Or perhaps by my ESV Bible post? Do you feel I’ve sold out? Is it obvious that a post can be bought just by sending me something free? You know I’d tell you if it was rotten stuff they sent though… Right? Like the free Senseo coffee maker I got the other day… the dark roast pods that came with it totally stink. But the new Senseo design is an improvement… I’ll spare you the review.

  1. I was wondering if you could manage an extensive post on your twin sister’s dream of someday learning lampwork bead making.

  2. Well… for the right amount of Taco Bueno Gift Cards… I’d probably write about anything.

  4. I am in no way offended by your post. No, I don’t think you’re selling out. I think you’re posting your thoughts. Isn’t that what a blog is all about?

  5. Even if you were selling out, I wouldn’t care. I hope you get something free every day in the mail. And then when you get too much stuff, you can pass it on to me. ;)
