Life is random, so is my blog.

In love

Here’s a quick note to say that I am totally in love with my five year old son. He’s so funny. And so serious. And so much fun to be with and talk to. I have a great story I could tell about him, but I know he’d rather his private life wasn’t eternally Google-able… so I will resist the temptation.

There comes a point in parenthood when telling friends everything about your children becomes more like gossip and less like a mom talking about her day.

  1. I know this post is about Jer, but the two of them made me laugh so hard Saturday. Sarah tried telling me that her sister got taken away in a tornado. Jer again insisting that there was no sister. I forget exactly what Sarah said next. In an attempt to get the last word, Jer whispered to me, “She doesn’t really have a tister (sic)!”

Ah yes… Sarah’s whole medium family were killed by twisters… though I’m not sure if it was in Soft Carolina or Oklahoma City or Mexico…

  3. Amy, I’m so glad Joel was home and you had a good Thanksgiving. I tried several times to comment on your sermon and couldn’t. SO, I loved it. You did not seem unduly nervous, and you drew me in with your personal story. :-)
