Hello future Army Chaplains. Did you notice that you’re supposed to purchase the Army Officer’s Guide and bring it with you to CHOBC?
I wasn’t able to find a copy at Ft. Wood. But Amazon seems to have the best price online.

Yeah. The guide is not an integral part of the training (as it was given in the Summer). Let me put it this way - it was NEVER mentioned. I was a little put out since I jumped hoops to get it. But then I just considered it part of the indoctrination into the Army’s way of doing things
Really, it is required so that you will have a ready reference for basic questions about officer skills/requirements and questions about the Army in general.
It is a good volume to have - but I wouldn’t be too upset if you arrive without it.

Thanks Mike,
I wondered why it was only mentioned in that one place and never in any of the emails that they have sent us.
