In what some consider the greatest comeback in NFL history; the Buffalo Bills were down 35-3 at the half to the Houston Oilers. Frank Reich led his team to a 41-38 victory. He was later asked about how he had pulled that off. He said the Wednesday before that game, his sister had told him about a song called ‘In Christ Alone’. He was so moved by that song that he listened to it at least a hundred times before that Sunday game. It was so ingrained that he couldn’t get it off his mind. He hummed the song through out that second half.
He said “I will never forget the words. The words I recite most often are, ‘In every victory, let it be said of me, that my source of strength and my source of hope is Christ alone.’

Jack, what a great story! Thank you for sharing it. I’ve been humming it, too (as well as the song His Strength is Perfect). When you pray for Amy, please pray for me. Thanks!
