From what I understand it was his last day to be out at the gate. While I didn't really know him, I had spoke to him in passing from time to time. We'd actually been out at the gate about an hour or so prior to the explosion, inventorying trucks. Whether Cheney's presents had anything to do with the event I don't know, I do know that Cheney wasn't near enough to be in any danger. I think of PFC Zizumbo from time to time, the loss his family is left and the sacrifice he made. I will always remember him and the events of that day. News from the MSM really frosts me sometimes.
