Grilled Bananas

Joel just threw a few bananas on the grill… DELICIOUS! We peeled them, poured chocolate, caramel sauce, and cinnamon on top and… gracious they’re good. Sarah said it’s the best desert she ever ate. Jeremiah plans on opening a grilled banana stand soon. :)

  • This is a dumb question, but…you grill them skins and all? Do you have to slit or poke the skins first or anything? We just bought a mack daddy charcoal grill and are trying to use all the available surface space…grilled peaches were okay, but I think I’d like the bananas more.

    We grilled them in the skins without splitting or poking. :) They were fine like that though a little tricky peeling while they’re hot.

    I googled it and found other instructions to slice them in quarters before grilling. I’m going to try that too.

  • this sounds kinda gross!! what is really is good is peeling them and deep frying them! YUM!
