Being a coffee hobbyist, I appreciate the differences between different roasts, blends, origins, and coffee brewing methods.
Some people say,
“Coffee is coffee”
They drink something that tastes more like dirt or cardboard.
I know people who are tea fanatics. They special order different loose leaf teas and know just the right way to store it brew it, drink it etc. I just put an old tea bag in a cup of hot water.
Tea is tea.
It would kill them to hear me say that. They know better.
I have a set of decent speakers hooked up to my computer. They’re good enough. They play music.
Speakers are speakers.
My friend has a high dollar, carefully tweaked system to play his music. With the speakers just right and settings just so, he notices the quality of each recording… I don’t know what I’m missing.
I wonder how much of life we go through not knowing it tastes like cardboard. I feel like each day of my life is a cup of stale store brand coffee. God offered abundant life but I just don’t know how much He has to offer.
Prayer is prayer.
God is…. god.

i’m also a coffee addict. and what i realized is that i can resemble it to life as well. like the first sip, it’s bitter. the second, third, fourth, you cannot even tell if it’s bitter because your already numb of the taste. then at the last sip, you tell yourself it’s empty, i’ll go get another. what i’m trying to say is that life sometimes is hard to bear. but we must face it as it is for we are here in this world not just to sit around, but to do something on purpose. and that God has written our destiny and we cannot change nor alter it. all we’ve got to do is to enjoy every roller-coaster ride. life is just bittersweet. what do you think?
