Asides
“Love is patient and kind;
love does not envy or boast;
it is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrongdoing,
but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.
Love never ends.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Rachel and her kids have headed home. Last time I saw them they looked… cold. Goodness it’s cold out there this morning.
I really enjoyed our time together, and I’ll miss them terribly. Please pray that they travel a safe 571 miles.
I’ve photos and fun to post later. For now, I think I’ll find breakfast.
Joel’s birthday is October 2nd. Here’s hisAmazon Wish List. If you’d like to send him a letter, card or care package let me know and I’ll send you his mailing address.
I’m very proud of my friend Rachel. Very.

I. Am. At. The. Beach. With. Rachel Harmon.
One month ago we had just met in person and were on our way to Fort Jackson, SC. Today, we’re at Panama City Beach, Florida.
How cool is that?
After spending some time with Tamara and staying a couple days with Joel’s mom, we’ve headed North to Rachel’s house. Tomorrow morning we’ll retrace our steps and head South to Florida.
It’s good to be back at Rachel’s. One month ago she picked me up from the airport in Nashville. Here I am again. Thank God.
An Open Letter to the wonderful women I’ll be staying with for the next two weeks:
Don’t Clean. Stop it… throw things on the floor.. that’s right.
Messy houses are a ministry. Seriously!
No really… I mean it. If your house is too clean I’ll be offended.
Yep. And my kids won’t know what to do with themselves.
